The Home button in the front and the Apple logo on the back are made using black diamonds. Made by Camael London, this gadget weighs over 1kg.

The most expensive pair of speakers in the world was made by Hart Audio in 2012 as part of its Aural Pleasure range. Priced at $4.7 million, there is only one pair available in the world, made of 18-carat gold. Five sets of silver speakers were also made, costing $315,000. The solid phosphor bronze speakers are priced at $63,000, with stocks limited to a total of 99 pairs.

Want modern technology embedded with a piece of history? Stuart Hughes has created an iPad 2 that boasts of the shavings of the bone of a 65 million-year-old T-Rex dinosaur. That’s not all. The device’s front frame is made using Ammolite, the oldest rock in the world, dated as many as 75 million years back.

This gadget is also encrusted with 53 flawless diamonds, weighing 12.5-carat. The back panel as well as the Apple logo of this iPad 2 are made using 24-carat gold and weigh 2kg. Priced at a cool $7.8 million, only two units of this iPad 2 Gold History Edition have been made by Stuart Hughes.

Made using 135gram solid gold of 24 carat, the $15 million iPhone 5 Black Diamond took nine weeks to build. The chassis was inlaid with 600 white diamonds, while the Apple logo on the back boasts of 53 of these gems. Apart from these precious materials, this phone also utilizes sapphire in the screen.

The highlight of this black-and-gold iPhone 5 is the single, flawless black deep-cut diamond that has replaced the home button. Weighing 26-carat, this black diamond belonged to a Chinese business man who commissioned this phone from luxury product maker Stuart Hughes

Samsung SM-G310, Andriod 4.4 KitKat-based low-end smartphone spotted online

Details about Samsung's first entry-level Android v4.4 KitKat-running smartphone, dubbed as Samsung SM-G310, have emerged on the web. According to reports, the smartphone is currently being tested in India with its shipping info listed on site called Zauba. The smartphone has also been certified by the US' FCC.

The Samsung SM-G310 will reportedly feature 4-inch WVGA screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It runs Android 4.4.2 on a Broadcom chipset with two Cortex-A9 cores @ 1.2GHz and a VideoCore IV GPU.

For connectivity, the smartphone supports dual-SIM (optional), Wi-Fi b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 + LE and NFC. There's a 1,500 mAh battery. The SM-G310 measures 121 x 62.7mm.

There's no word on the pricing or availability of the smartphone, however reports suggest the official release will happen very soon.

It's worth pointing out here Google's new OS has been optimised for fairly low-end devices, with as little as 512MB of RAM. However, the OS will be compatible with new low-end handsets.

Back in December, it was reported Samsung was seriously considering KitKat update for its mid-range, low-end smartphones.

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, 6-inch quad-core smartphone launched at Rs. 25,990

Sony has officially announced the launch of its Xperia T2 Ultra phablet in India. Priced at Rs. 25,990, the T2 Ultra has a 6-inch 720p display with 245ppi pixel density. There's a dual-SIM version as well.

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8928 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has 13MP camera pulsed LED flash and auto focus, burst mode, HDR for both picture/film and 16x digital zoom. It has 1.1MP front facing camera.

The Xperia T2 Ultra has 8GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. For connectivity, the phablet supports 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality, NFC and aGPS. The phablet comes preloaded with a slew of apps including Sony Select, WALKMAN, Clear Audio+, xLoud Experience, FM Radio with RDS and lots more.

Sony's new Android phablet is set to take on the likes of the Moto X, Google Nexus 4, Gionee Elife E7 and Nokia Lumia 1320 in the Indian market
